The Kobolia Agriculture Project
The deed has been located and on hand; a technical group has visited the site and the preliminary project proposal is done. The intent of this project is a feeder project for support and self-subsistence of the institution should we be successful in rebuilding the campuses to pre-civil war standard. We have a concept that is now being reviewed by a technical committee.

4-Wheel Drive Truck
In 2013, the members of St. John's in the Village, Manhattan, hoped to collect $4,000 towards a four-wheel drive pickup truck during Lent. Instead, they collected $6,009. Other donations came from alumni and from Christ Church New Brighton, Staten Island, NY. The truck will be used to transport material and equipment from Monrovia to the campus.

We also say a special thanks to friends and members of the Alumni Association, who collected more than $4,000 for the pick-up truck during a mini-rally held at the Maryland Convention, 2014.
Solar Street Lighting
Delivery of parts and poles for the solar street lighting project.
The lights on their poles.
Comment from Dean of Students: The light is a blessing to the School and the St. John mission. We feel secure at night on the mission. And the students are now safe coming on the mission at night for social and church activities at night. The members of the St. John church also benefiting from the solar light. We are so happy with this donation.
In 2023, we received $10,000 from the New York Episcopal Diocese's Sustainable Development Goals fund to support the electrification of the two Episcopal school complexes in the Diocese of Liberia, at St. Agnes School and St. Augustine School in Lofa County and at the EES and EHS complex in Robertsport. The SDG grant was designed to support the beginning phases of a multi-phase project—in this case, fact finding, cost estimating, fundraising, and the installation of solar streetlights. The total cost was $15,002--the alumni groups were able to raise an additional $5,000 for the project by selling t-shirts and fundraising in various venues.
The long darkness of the campus changed May 2, 2022, when the team headed by Bro. Moses Nimley, one of the alumni, and Mr. Emmanuel Jusu, the contractor, with other workers arrived on St. John’s Mission with 21 solar lights and poles. The planting of the solar lights began from the T-junction opposite the St. Timothy Hospital, up to the Mission and the school campus.
The shining of those solar lights on campus at night has brought relief from fear for those who lived on campus. It has also brought joy to the students and the members of Irving Memorial Church.
We continue to pray for more opportunities for the improvement of the Episcopal High School and the St. John’s Mission.
